Cloud Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cloud Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our bookkeeping and VAT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of task across a wide range of clients:

– VAT return preparation & submission

– Monthly bookkeeping

– Review of VAT returns prepared by other team members

– Billing and fee reviews

– Offering bookkeeping and VAT advice to clients

The role requires leadership skills and the candidate must be willing to work as part of a team to complete tasks. Attention to detail and readiness to learn & research complex tax queries as well as rules and regulations will also be beneficial qualities.

Experience with online accounting software is important, such as QuickBooks Online and Xero.  You should also have 1 year’s experience in bookkeeping or VAT and experience in a customer-facing role.  You should be highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

This is an office based job in Wilmslow town centre.  Free parking is provided.

Tax Manager or Senior

We are also seeking an experienced tax senior or manager, who will manage day-to-day tax compliance, which is mostly personal tax, with a little corporate tax.  You will work alongside the Directors to advise our clients on tax planning and you will also review the work of more junior staff.  You will ideally be ATT qualified with strong compliance skills.  You will be attending client meetings, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.  You should be highly organised.

This role can be offered on a hybrid basis, and we will consider full time or part time hours.
