With the deadline for Making Tax Digital growing ever nearer, businesses really need to consider how they will keep and submit their records digitally.
The Government’s Making Tax Digital initiative will affect all businesses registered for VAT, that also have a turnover over the VAT threshold. From April 2019 those businesses must keep their records digitally and submit their VAT returns digitally. Worryingly our research has shown that a third of businesses are still unaware of the Making Tax Digital deadline.
The best and easiest way to submit your records digitally is via an approved Cloud Accounting system. We are hosting a number of Cloud Accounting Workshops to inform local businesses of their responsibilities under Making Tax Digital and to brief them on the different Cloud Accounting packages available to them. All businesses are welcome. If you would like to attend one of these sessions, please register via Eventbrite by clicking on one of the date’s below. Otherwise please email: admin@castletons-accountants.co.uk or phone: 01625 524127
Wednesday 14th November 2pm-4pm
Tuesday 11th December 10am – 12pm
Both sessions will take place at our office: The Old Workshop, 12b Kennerley’s Lane, Wilmslow, SK9 5EQ
